My mum told me about the first book she had found in the Works. I was left wanting to hear more. I don't have as much time as I would like to read. I was so glad that I found all three booked on audible. I could listen why going about my day.

The narration was good but the story was lacking it reminded me of an end bottom famous five book.I bought her other 2books at the same time hope for an improvement.

listening to historical events, such as pendel witches ,made me think about how bad life was for people in those times in a place which is near to where I live. loved all the books and can't wait for the next one.

iv yet to read the next book (vampire of Whitby) which im looking forward to but upto now this is my favourite of the series, the story is engaging and has me hooked from chapter one, the narrator is exceptional, and only after Stephen fry has to be my favourite.

id recommend this book to adults as well as kids give it a try I think you will enjoy it
