My children and I have absolutely LOVED listening to this book and can’t wait for the next one. Super characters and unlikely heroes. Plenty of action and tense situations but all very appropriate for all ages of children.

I have listened to most of this series now, and am thoroughly enjoying it. As a primary school teacher, I read and enjoy many books aimed at this age of children and, sometimes, you come across one which is so well-written that you can't help but recommend it to any age. This is one of those finds. The story is interesting and fast-moving, the characters are wonderful and, I'd argue, this series is Cressida Cowell's best (yes, better than the dragon ones)!

I absolutely love listening to stories narrated by David Tennant as he has a way of doing voices and bringing characters alive in such an engaging way; I never find it twee as it can be with others who do the same. His story-telling on this one is fantastic and he truly does an excellent story justice.

Beautifully read - the characters really come alive. Story full of all things magical and exciting. Children aged 6-11 loved it.
