I was recommended giving this a shot, and even though I'm not usually a fan of the dungeon setting I think Devan Drake managed to make it interesting and fun with how the MMC was written and how he interacted with the surrounding actors and different elements. I did find the ending a bit unnecessary but I know some people just really enjoy writing like that.

Overall a great listen and great value with over 63h of great performance from the VAs and writing.

It's well written with good plot and character development. There's plenty of sex, which seems to have been written by someone who has actually had sex, but it isn't the only thing.
it's even written in such a way a to make it possible to skip over the sexy bits and only listen to the plot.
if listening to well written sex scenes makes you uncomfortable.

100% escapism. thoroughly entertained, enthralled and wanting the continuation in box set complete series, as I enjoy the natural flow from one book to the next without having to search for the next one. especially as I listen while driving.
