Another interesting book from HH. I think I might buy a paper copy of it to read again. I didn't particularly get on with the performance and I think there were some incorrect pronunciations, such as Shantideva pronounced as Santideva, which I've never heard anyone say before. I did alter the speed from the start based on the review of another saying it was fast

One of the best introductions to Tibetan Buddhism. A must read, over and over, to grasp some of the concepts. But well worth it. Now, I wonder...... hehe

Fascinating overview of Tibetan Buddhism, including how it fits into the larger Buddhist context, and what distinguishes it, as well as covering different schools of thought within Tibetan Buddhism. It gives a lot of interesting information on tantra/vajrayana practices, which are especially interesting and unique

This would’ve been good had the author stuck to the title of the book and not padded out the book and had dedicated chapters on Buddha and Buddhism is general
