Laura Perryman's family has always lived on the tiny island of Bryher. She lives with her twin brother, Billy, her mother and father, and her Granny May. They have four milking cows,enough to keep the entire population of the island supplied with milk, and the islanders feed themselves from the sea. I listened to this book because I’m off to Bryher next week where the book is set. I’m just shy of 50 years old, I hear this is a children’s book but I fully enjoyed the story and the narration. I can’t wait to go and see the areas of the island where the book takes you.
