About this listen

Who needs fireballs when you’ve got fancy handwriting?

Ben thought Cerebral VR would be the perfect escape from his dead-end life. Instead, he wakes up inside a merciless fantasy world with no starting class, no gear, and a seemingly useless calligraphy skill.

When an impossibly powerful item falls into his lap, Ben goes from underpowered to hunted by the most dangerous players in the Wylds. As gods, monsters, and rival players close in, Ben’s only hope for survival is clever problem solving, powerful gear, and relentless progression.

The Wylds Online Omnibus brings together Books 1–3 in a single epic LitRPG adventure filled with progression-driven leveling, tactical combat, escalating stakes, and a weak-to-strong journey where every choice matters.

Perfect for fans of He Who Fights with Monsters, Awaken Online, and The Land.

I'm always a bit wary when I hear that the author is the narrator, but this was done really well. fun book. it wasn't too complicated but worked well for litRPG. I'll read the next one.

Fun book, I liked the narration.

MC is a good guy with his heart in the right place, his friend can be…, let's just say I shuddered a little bit when chatting up the receptionist 😂. there's lots of potential for character growth and Eddie upcoming books. the author has a good imagination and the story is always interesting, the characters are all distinguishable which always makes it easy to follow along, and I've heard some bad the author and narrator are one and the same, and you can tell it's his first narration but this does smooth out as the story goes on, so I'm not going to fault him for it and he should be proud of his accomplishment. interested to see what happens next.

Quite the ending

this is not my typical read and/or listen but I liked that the author was also the narrator. This is good for all ages as I did listen to it with my nephew (which insisted that I didn't listen to it without him,)

enjoyed

I was pleasantly surprised by this as I could not get into any previous litrpg stories. This was also the first story I have listened to as read by the author and he did a very respectable job. I will continue with this story. Well Done.

Well paced and thoroughly enjoyable

A really interesting story using some of the most interesting magic I've encountered in a story in ages. I also particularly enjoyed how much the NPC's seemed to dislike the players

Excellent Magic
