I absolutely loved this book. It reminded me of the joyful experience of reading the pony books I loved as a child, the same realism and investment in the characters and horses , but this is perfect for me as an adult !
I especially appreciated the detail about progressive horse training and care and it has inspired me in my own journey with my two new horses. I feel as if the writer , Grace , really loved writing and creating this world - with the characters and the adventures- the challenges and the triumphs and that happiness came out of every chapter. So it was an uplifting and wonderful experience to listen to it. I enjoyed the voices that Frankie the reader used for all the characters - she also put her heart and soul into this performance - you can feel it. I loved the whole thing . Thanks to Grace the writer for all of your passion and commitment in writing this book and to Frankie for the energy and enthusiasm in delivering it . Totally 5 stars !

The Yard is a real, down-to-earth story that captured my heart from the beginning.

There is a rich cast of characters, each one absolutely brilliant. The narrator's performance was outstanding - I hope she reads the next book, "The Farm".

I was completely invested in Grace's journey, and I was genuinely sad when the book ended. In fact, I immediately started listening again to rejoin the girls!

Such an amazing books. Grace Olsen is an amazing author, the fact that this books explores her journey with animal therapy is truly wonderful. Animal therapy is the best therapy, Grace has been an inspiration to me and I enjoy my own animals for therapy daily. Such a special listen. So well read and I loved every minute of it. I can not recommend the Yard highly enough.
