Bought to listen in the car . The story line is simple and therefore not distracting but this doesn’t mean boring. It’s chick lit at its best , you are drawn into the lives of the three main characters in a sleepy Suffolk village and how chance brings them together .
The only slight irritation was the performance by the narrator , it didn’t quite work for me in places at first but I soon got used to her and only occasionally did it grate .

Easy listening

The story is very well put together, with 3 different storylines running and then merging and mixing with each other. Very clever. The narrator was brilliant and engaging.

Good story. Brilliant Narrator

Always enjoy Lucy Diamond and this was another excellent book. Good storyline with realistic characters and plot. You are quickly drawn into the lives of the group of girl friends as they face trials and tribulations that change their path and lead them into all kinds of situations. Friendships develop and grow and the story twists and turns along the way. Great read ( listen!) and I really had to keep going to discover what would happen next!

Loved it!
