I have listened to all her books and have never been disappointed; I love her narration it soothes me! The stories are always relatable and quite often I’m there in my head!! I’m always in mourning, when I’ve finished them. My one complaint, if you could call it that, is I have to wait too long for another great listen. I am definitely a huge fan x

Great story and so well written that it really affected me emotionally; had tears more than once but also laughed. The jumping between present day and 8 yrs previously was slightly jarring but it made sense, especially when something is revealed quite a way into the book. I may well listen again to the earlier parts with the new-found knowledge.
The narration is rather quiet, the narrator has a soft voice.

I’ve just found this author and this is the second book I have listened to. This book makes you think and I love the twists and turns great listen over a couple of days

Great story

The characters were well-drawn and some astute observations made about how life choices impact us.
I gave the story one less star because it felt a bit too neat and tidy at the end. on the one hand, that did add to the feelgood factor but on the other hand, it took away from the realism - very seldom (if ever) do all of life's loose ends get tied up in such a perfect way!
