Enjoyed the period descriptions with good accurate details. Thought the narration was excellent. Great performance.

Enjoyed main character

You’re not sure of the traitors until the very end .Narrator was excellent , they can make or break an audio book , often I’ve heard the whiney irritating voice and given up within minutes . Definitely not the case here .

Intriguing story

Easy listening post WW1 cosy crime with plucky heroine, once again ignoring any sexist hurdles women had to leap over at the time. There’s some raised eyebrows at women drivers but that’s really as bad as it gets, let alone the idea that the heroine was a spy aged 17 in the war. It’s possible but hugely unbelievable given the demure nature of the character. Still, if you want something unchallenging to fall asleep to this makes pleasant listening. (As long as it’s free)

Cosy crime, quaint but generic & unchallenging

It evoked the period the book is set in beautifully, a nice change from the modern day.

Light and entertaining.

The narrator spoiled this for me. Cringy male voices.
The story was interesting enough but I will not be listening to the next in the series.
