I’ve listened to over 1000 books on here. I’ve come actoss a lot of errors, oversights and just plain rushjobs. Spelling-mistakes, misplaced words, wrong voicelines or repeated voicelines by several narrators. THIS is the first time I’ve EVER encountered ALL of Them in the same book! And there are even some new ones I’ve never heard before! (The Very first antagonist, the “flower-picker” changes name throughout the books. THAT is a new one, even for me!)
There IS a story in here … somewhere… Somebody, (likely several somebody’s) did a butchering on editing, proofreading and, (this is where I start cringing) STILL the narrators just sit there reading words that are CLEARLY mispelled, (I know this because they don’t do it consistently) reading words which are CLEARLY wrong from context and so on and so much more… (Nevermind the weird personality-shift in the writing or the odd attempts at “translating” proverbs and whatnot, THAT I Can live with.) So my question is: Why? Why did you release this in this State? How did this not get caught? As stories go, it’s fine, it shows some promise actually, if the author, editor & production team can agree to be on the same page. THIS is not that,
This author, this story, this production deserves better.
