This is my first book from Rina Kent and I’m blown away how good it was . Rai decides to step in and be forced into an arranged marriage to save them making Anastasia do it , little did she know a ghost from her past would soon be her husband. Kyle has ulterior motives for marrying Rai and has everyone fooled even Rai until he slips up and Rai finds out the truth of his second betrayal towards her.
Shane East and Vanessa Edwin narrated perfectly and I’m looking forward to book 2.

I was already 100% in when Ms. Kent announced she was writing a mafia duet. I somehow didn't connect this to her Lies and Truths Duet until I started reading it. Now this duet can be read on it's own (assuming you read this book first of course) but I STRONGLY suggest you don't overlook the other duet. It slaps. and Rai? She is the real baddie. It's rare I come across a mafia romance with a heroine this strong and I don't know if I can go back to the meek heroines of others. As for Kyle. Man...he was intense. He's as dangerous as he is inviting. Can we trust him? Can we trust anyone?? Why haven't I got the second part of this duet yet?? All questions I can't answer for reasons. But if Mafia is your jam..pick this up. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

4 stars purely for the entertainment value. Rai is such a strong FMC, and Kyle? Let’s just say he’s the definition of infuriating. I always have a good time with Rina Kent’s mafia books, and this one was no different.
