This has to be one of the best audible books I have ever purchased, and I’ve purchased many! It has transformed the way I think about all my interactions and it is extremely far away from my normal habitual behaviour. I truly believe I can be a better leader, friend, parent and partner through trying to apply this new knowledge and understanding. Thank you Nancy.

I’m not sure where some of the other reviewers were coming from giving colourful descriptions of the non-speaking noises coming from the speaker’s mouth - I didn’t hear any of this. The only thing that was slightly dodgy was the quality of the music audio between sections. As for the content it is well considered, thought provoking (no pun intended) and provides some excellent techniques for developing a thinking environment, which in todays world of interrupting the speaker and living by sound bites is totally refreshing.

I would make this required listening for any leader, aspiring leader or anyone who works in a team or group session (not to mention relationships and family) - ok, just read it
