Summary

Well I’ve never read a gargoyle monster story before but it had Kelsey and Troy in narration so as two of my favourites I’ve dived in and I wasn’t disappointed.

It’s hot and spicy at times and I loved how Kelsey bought to life the badass FMC Juliana. She’s feisty and no-holes barred and doesn’t judge her monster Titan. He’s a beast and a protector and it’s clear he falls for her early but both characters have other priorities…..that soon collide and then there is no going back. Not going to lie, Titan is a lover and a fighter and I’d say hell yes to a piece of him; and that tail! Oh yes 👏

Wished it was a duet narration, but you can’t have it all. Looking forward to the 2nd book.

This monster romance was quite kinky and fun too. When i read the title I didn't realise that our fmc was a sugar baby and the 700 year old monster an actual sugar daddy. So, we get that and the kinky side of him being her "daddy", too. There was also some major family drama (on her side) and prn community drama on his. Overall a very hot 🔥 but also entertaining story.

I love paranormal romance but the sugar daddy trope didn’t really appeal to me. I’m glad I listened to this one, though — I was completely hooked. The steam is great, there isn’t too much angst, and the characters learn some things about themselves along the way.

I’ve seen reviews saying the FMC is just after the yummy gargoyle’s money, but since that is literally the whole plot of the beginning, it didn’t bother me. She’s in a tight situation and he’s helping her out.

Narrators did a great job. The guy’s voice is so deep, I have a hard time believing he isn’t actually a gargoyle!
