Don't get me wrong, I don't listen to fantasy/sci-fi type books for realism, but I just couldn't get my head around the whole Adele has 4 boyfriend's thing. No mother, sister or boyfriend for that matter would be happy with their set up. It completely spoiled the book for me and I couldn't take it seriously. What are they going to do when they have kids? Take it in turns to poke her until one sticks? Then raise the kids as a quadruple and not worry about who's it is, because spoiler alert, if the kid is mixed race, I can tell you who the biological father is.

Other than the polygamy, it was an alright but predictable story. In my version, she ended up with Jamison.
