Even though this book is over 30 years old the humour is fresh and the eco messages even more so. I’ve just rediscovered Hiaasen after a long drought and not regretting it.

Lovely long book, so the plot isn't rushed. It was an unusual concept - the way the murderers to choose their victims. There are American words which I didn't understand without googling, but the narration was smooth this didn't impact the story.
