Summary

War is coming, and she must decide how badly she wants the vampires on her side. Or as a thorn in her side

"My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker."

When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.

Bringing my allies together as war approaches is my number one concern. But that means I have to play nice with a vampire who is blackmailing me. If I don’t, I’m screwed and my family is dead.

But I don't play nice. And I have a backup plan. Kinda.

Throw in some new weapons being developed that work around supernaturals and I have more problems than I can handle on my own.

Good thing I have a kick ass team.

Even if they are on the other side of the world from me.

Every book in this series just gets better! While there is a lot of heartbreak in this book, there is also hope and love and new understandings and I cannot wait to see what happens next with Riley and her pack! Still loving the 2 narrator's, really helping me to sink into the story.

Fab story.

Tracker by Shannon Mayer was an engaging and fast-paced addition to the series, and the audiobook really enhanced the experience.

Rylee’s role as a Tracker—finding those who are lost when no one else can—brought both emotional weight and high stakes to the story. This installment leaned into that balance, showing both the challenges and the cost of what she does.

The plot was filled with tension, shifting alliances, and unexpected twists. Between the looming threat of war, complicated deals with dangerous characters, and the introduction of new weapons, there was always something driving the story forward.

The narration added an extra layer to the experience, bringing out the urgency and emotion in key moments and making it easy to stay immersed.

Overall, this was a suspenseful and entertaining listen with a good mix of action, mystery, and character-driven moments. A solid choice for fans of urban fantasy audiobooks.
