About this listen

An exciting journey through darkness that is filled with moments of pure light." (Jeffery Pritchett, host of ChurchOfMabusRadio.com)

Follow the thrilling investigations of a man who has peered into more dark places than most and sought the answers to questions we fear to ask. Join Richard Estep (TV's Haunted Hospitals, Paranormal 911, Paranormal Night Shift) on a hair-raising adventure to haunted locations across the United States and England.

Discover the restless phantoms who inhabit the Hostel, one of Britain's most famous haunted houses. Explore the Cripple Creek Jail, where prisoners and jailers alike are held long after death. Enter the infamous Black Monk House of West Yorkshire, home of the king of poltergeists. Richard Estep gives you an in-depth look at these supernatural phenomena, presenting details so vivid you can almost feel each chilling presence that he encounters.

Absolutely shocking narration. I feel so sorry for the author, having his book ruined by such poor narration. Are these performances listened to before they are published?

Waste of a credit!

Really good book, well balanced and explained.
Unfortunately the narrator is not best suited this book.
His character “voices” are jarring and his over all delivery sounds like he is reading a shopping list back to an elderly relative.

Not the best narration

Richard Estep is such a wonderful writer and storyteller that reading his books is a joy. The last two chapters were particularly chilling and I admit had me spooked.

Unfortunately the narration on this audiobook version wasn’t great (sometimes trying to do accents is the worst idea!), so if you can, perhaps go for the print version instead. I look forward to reading more of Richard’s books

Another great book from Richard Estes

love Richard estep stuff. but omg this narrator with a speech impediment, doing ridiculous accents and impersonations almost made me quit. Great content though.

sack the narrator!
