The pace of the book, the intricacies of the relationships, all refreshing. The view of who even the worst vampire was before, and why they did what they did

Best vampire story ever

Really enjoed Ysidro's sonnet. The narrator was amazing, as usual.
The story was good, better than the first one, but I fellt the story was jumping a bit too much between the two POVs.

Ending was the best

I loved both books but found it frustrating that a lot of explanation was left out, as in it jumped from one situation to another with no link.
and from one person's perspective to another with insufficient clarity so I had to rewind to try work out how they got where they were.
