About this listen

Trisha’s bestselling Christmas book will have you hooked from start to finish – the perfect read as those cold winter nights draw in.

Christmas has always been a sad time for young widow Holly Brown. So when she's asked to look after a remote house on the Lancashire moors, the opportunity to hide herself away is irresistible – the perfect excuse to forget about the festivities.

The owner of the house, Jude Martland, is also avoiding Christmas since the last one saw his brother run off with his fiancee. But forced to return home unexpectedly, Jude arrives to find that his family are running amok – with Holly seemingly at the centre of it all.

As the blizzards descend, there is no escape. With nowhere to go, Holly and Jude get much more than they bargained for – and a Christmas they will always remember!

I have read this book mamy times and have lomg awaited it on audible. Fantastic listen but the pronunciation of Noel's name wasn't correct and this let it down - otherwise a great purchase

I’ve read this book multiple times as a physical book and was so pleased to see it coming as an audiobook. Just wish someone had explained to the narrator how to pronounce Noel as a man’s name. Unfortunately it grates every time she says ‘nowell’ with two syllables as you would for a female Noelle rather than the single syllable for a man.

Great story, interesting narration

I love this book and read it every Christmas, this is the first year that I have listened to it on audible,I enjoyed it,but found myself distracted by the incorrect pronunciation of the name Noel, which though the character was male was pronounced in the feminine version of Noelle, this did spoil it a bit for me.

An annual read
