I've read this series all out of order, but I finally finished Aiden and Elsa's tale. And I'm kinda sad to see them go. Rina Kent has raised the bar really high for me this year and she always meets or exceeds my expectations with every book of hers I get my hands on. Since this is the third book in the series and the first three books can't be read as standalones all I'll say is that I couldn't have asked for a better ending. I loved listening to these on audio and the duel narration is chef's kiss.

Ah, this series- it was a great trilogy. Well, I think it would have been better as a duet, to be honest, as there were areas that could have been cut out and a bit of repetition (I mean, how many times can the characters try to get back at each other by pretending to go out with someone else?). However, this end was fantastic- there were so many twists and interesting premises that kept me close to my earbuds so I could find out what happened next. I actually read a later book in the series before I finished this trilogy so if you haven't read in order, it's best for you to do so, in my opinion. Things that happen in this book will affect the environments of the other books.

This book follows the 4 Horsemen and their school and completes the romance of Aiden and Elsa. This is a busy book that helps to tie a lot of the loose ends together finally. I'm not going to give much more away but just know that this was an exciting and well done conclusion to the trilogy.

The audiobook was FANTASTIC. I'm pretty sure that good part of my enjoyment was listening to Shane East and Keira Stevens narrate with emotion. They are so talented at playing multiple characters and they kept me fascinated and immersed in the story. And, those accents. sigh. Anyway, listen to the audiobooks- they are amazing.

Finally, the answers I have been craving. Rina Kent has delivered the most explosive story in these first three books of the Royal Elite series. I became totally invested in the outcome and had to know! And talk about unpredictable! Surprises are at every corner. We continue with the volatile relationship between Elsa and Aidan. It's one that you just don't know if you want it to continue, but you have to watch to see. And I am so glad I did! It's unexpected, it's passion filled, it's tragic and it's everything I love! Dark, mysterious, and intriguing, Kent had my attention until the very end. Can't wait to continue this delicious series.

Shane East and Keira Stevens are amazing. With high emotions and great passion, I was totally enraptured with the voices, feeling all they were going through. I love these two together, and looking forward to more.

This story, while good, really dragged on for me. The ending was good enough but I'm not blown away. I feel like perhaps the story could have been more enjoyable if it were more compact and didn't have as much repetition.

The narration was really well done and I really cannot fault it. Both voice actors have very clear voices and could inject just the right amount of personality and emotional into each scene.

overall it was an enjoyable listening experience. The story was good and I do feel like I got my money's worth.
