What was one of the most memorable moments of Under The Ice: A Gus LeGarde Mystery?

The themes all build from flu to Shelbys problems, an ex husband coming out of prison and a storm of ice which will test everyone's chance of survival. It's brilliantly written and build throughout to an exciting conclusion.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

You can't answer this question without spoiling the book. However let's keep it simple. The characters are great. The suspense and pace of the book is excellent and it builds well to a very good ending.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It's an amazing story around a great family. Well written characters that you really engage with and like and you go through the book wanting them to survive.

This was a nice little book. No surprises or great suspense. The characters where expanded on well and you got a very in-depth monologue on each and every one. There was also a bit of a recipe book thrown in to. Each meal was described in great detail. Bazaar!! All in all it was a safe listen.
