Not surprisingly Saskia’s American accent is great - as she lives in NYC, however - I was surprised to find Oxfordshire is now overrun with Antipodeans …. I’m not sure how normal it is for the local accent to be from NZ! I lived in the Oxford area for over 20 years and never noticed!

Accent is confusing

I try and find the books included in membership, saw this and almost didn’t listen, as I wasn’t sure about the American accent at the start (sorry!) BUT… I kept going and the range of voices and accents that the reader went through was magnificent. A complete contrast to what I thought it would be, and now I want to listen to more from this author. Definitely worth the listen, a great book.

Easy narrative voice and easy listen whilst gardening and walking my dog etc.
