I enjoyed the chronological delivery of the narrative and the questions left unanswered. Always enjoy hearing about what happens to the characters after the story is told

Not the usual gripping read from Ken Follett. But the narration by Roddy McDowell was superb. This was a variation of the Great train robbery, very disappointing.

Shame, because I love Ken’s books. I’m sure it is a great read if you can tolerate the overacting and ridiculously exaggerated pronunciation of the French words. Will have to read the book…

Narrator was so annoying that I had to stop listening
