It wouldn't be a Stephen Leather story without kickass action, high stakes and nail-biting excitement. Underdogs delivers on all with flying colors and then some. As soon as you start your journey with Underdogs, you're only going to put it down once you've run out of pages to flip

This was a great addition to Stephen's arsenal. I have read all the Spider Shepherd books and already I am drawn to this new character Andy and his SAS superdog Tyson. Not only is he tough but he tried to save his team by giving his own life. Not only that but he is very clever at understandibg all the subtleties of the intelligence arena. I hope this develops further into 20 books. I won't spoill it for anyone but I listened non stop in a day.

Stephen Leather great as always & narrated by the best on Audible, Paul Thornley. I hope there’s plenty more to come from Tyson & Deadman.

More of Tyson please.

This is a cracking standalone novel from Stephen Leather, fast-paced and packed with edge-of-your-seat action from start to finish. The story is gripping, with plenty of tension to keep you hooked. One of the most interesting aspects is the hearing-impaired hero, which adds a unique dynamic to the plot. It’s refreshing to see a protagonist facing challenges in a different way, and it really deepens the suspense. Tyson the dog is an absolute star, loyal, brave, and brilliantly written. He adds both heart and intensity to the story. Paul Thornley’s narration is masterful. He brings real energy and depth to the characters.
Highly recommended.
