This book must be a godsend for any parents with an autistic child. I am in my sixties and only realized I have some autistic traits, well an ex-girlfriend that happened to work with autistic children, pointed out. so did further research to find how right she was. Had always thought of myself as a little different, especially needing my own space and preferring my own company. I was always noticing things that weren't perfectly level, and having to do something in a certain way. It was this little thing that she picked up on. we have a son that's now 35 and exactly the same as me. So I can imagine how bad it can be for a child that's got many of the traits.

So this book is going to be a tremendous help for parents overcoming the challenges that parents are faced with in raising an autistic child.

This book has improved my confidence around autistic people because now I have a better understanding of how their minds function, the coping mechanisms are great and I strongly recommend this to others.

If anyone wants to understand more about your child's behavior whether they have autistic or not, or wants to determine the intensity of support of your child's needs, should listen to this book. It identifies the 3 levels of autism for you and guides you with many...many ways to support and tips to help your child and help you to understand your child better. I feel like even you don't have an autistic child. This is also helpful because, in some of the situations mentioned here, the regular kids can act the same way and it can be extra helpful with those strategies.

Very helpful guide for parents!

I found this book insightful and reassuring and it also stresses that patience and understanding wins. It also reminds me that I’m not alone. A great read

Reassuring

I've read several books on this topic, being the parent of a child with ASD, and this one is really clear, and informative. I've found some real gems in there that maybe weren't outlined as clearly in other books, and I've already been able to implement some of the advice given with positive results. HIghly recommended to have in your library as a solid reference guide.
