This is book 2 in this series about The Bradshaw family and their matchmaking Mother(I love her)..
This is a second chance romance between Tobias Bradshaw and Brooke Carrington who dated years ago...But it all came to an end when Brooke took a job in California and Tobias just didn't go with her,which he deeply regretted...He did inherit her poodle though.
Now Brooke is back in Willow Bend Wyoming after she leaves her hubby to be at the alter..She had been trapped in an abusive relationship for years and it is Tobias's Mum who rescues her..
Brooke left with nothing and she now has to rebuild her entire life..She is given a lifeline from the Bradshaws when they give her a place to stay and a job at their security company.
When Tobias finds out Brooke is back and staying he is immediately planning to get her back in his life and he has to try to convince her to give them another chance too.
Because of the nature of the controlling relationship she was in with Matt Brooke is not the girl she once was...She has become insecure about herself ,her body and her decision making.
Brooke feels lost she has lost who she once was and feels like she doesn't know who she is anymore.
It is Tobias who will help her discover the woman she is.
Tobias has changed to he isn't that dumb 22 year old anymore the selfish one Brooke knew..He is 100% a better version of himself..Kind,caring patient..I mean he takes care of her when she gets the flu..SWOON !!
They slowly start to get to know one another again...and begin to fall in love...But Matt is still a threat and won't let Brooke go that easily...There is also an ongoing story from book 1 that carries into this book too..Someone or something is threatening the Bradshaws.
I have to say I Love Maren and I can't wait for her book she has to get a book right Janice?
Unfinished is an emotional spicy second chance romance and I enjoyed listening to it.
Brilliant.
