The story is good, not great but good. The narration, though. so bad. The male narrator plays the part so over the top it borders on unbelievable. The female narrator mispronounces so many words that, again the reader is taken out of the story. This version is definitely not recommended.

One of my favourite books brought to life beautifully in audio. Both narrators are perfection, Will provides a delicious, sexy, indecent indulgence as Rafe and Kylie brings perfection as a young woman trusting her desires, discovering her sexuality and 'unfurling'. The story is rich, intelligent, and decadent stimulating the mind and body... sit back and let this audio take you under, you will not be disappointed 🔥🔥🔥

An interesting topic, Catholicism and sexual awakening, I don't think I'd usually go for but the spice is incredible. Explicit and detailed! Good narrators too. I enjoyed it and have moved onto the second book.

Absolutely loved this book for the spice. What let it (and all the others) down is the female narrator. Her tone of voice will change mid sentence like she’s switched where she’s recording. She mispronounced so many words which wound me up and not in the good way. Plait being the main one. In the second book at times she switches to an Australian accent mid sentence. And she’s trying too hard to force a posh English accent which also leads to mispronunciation of certain words. If it wasn’t for the spice and story I would have dnf’d due to the female narrator
