Sense the difference in this book to all the others when Damian’s story wasn’t picked up from the beginning like normal.
I have been read all of Cathy’s books and have been an avid follower since Cut.I am sensing the end is nigh and Cathy is getting ready to wind down.I truly hope this isn’t the case!

I’ve listened to all of Cathy’s Fostering memoirs. They are really well written and the narrator is excellent. Cathy seems to make a real difference to the children she looks after despite some of them going through horrific abuse and neglect. She is completely dedicated and committed to making a difference to children’s lives. Another great book :-)

I’ve read every one of her books, this one seemed to lack something, I’m not sure exactly what… maybe it was too many different children/ families, too much pandemic talk and a general lack of direction.
