If you liked The Night Circus and The Winter Garden, you'll probably like this - I didn't so think this style might not be much cup of tea.
I enjoyed the premise, and the overall story of Upon A Frosted Star, but got a bit frustrated with what began to feel a bit self-indulgent on the description/adjectives front, which coupled with some of the performance started to feel a bit much.

Enjoyable, a bit wordy

I love this author, and fell in love with her first book but this one was such a disappointment. There are far too many word, which just over whelmed small details. I found the book waffling a little, for the sake of filling pages. There was no substance to it, and I little boring.

Too much! And yet not enough!
