Veiled Threat was another fantastic installment in the Rylee Adamson series. The deeper I got into this world, the more invested I became in both the story and the characters. Listening to the audiobook made the action and emotional moments feel even more immersive and exciting. 🎧✨

Rylee’s role as a Tracker continued to be one of the most unique parts of this series. This time, the danger felt bigger than ever as demons tore through the veil and threatened the people closest to her. The journey into the deeper levels of the veil added a darker and more intense atmosphere that kept me completely engaged.

One of my favorite parts of this book was finally learning more about Rylee’s importance in the larger story. The revelations throughout the plot added so much depth and made the stakes feel incredibly high. I also loved the introduction of the demon slayer and the complicated family connections that created even more tension and mystery. 🔥🐉

Alex remained one of my favorite characters in the series. His loyalty and presence in the story made me even more excited to see where the final battle would lead.

The character development, world building, and nonstop pacing were all excellent. Shannon Mayer continued to create a thrilling urban fantasy series filled with magic, danger, and emotional moments that kept me wanting more.

If you enjoy urban fantasy with strong heroines, supernatural creatures, high-stakes action, and found family dynamics, this series is absolutely worth picking up. I’m already excited to continue with the next book.

The whole series is so good, each installment gets better. I am loving the way Rylee is developing, she is such a strong character and I love the relationships she has with those around her. I do love the dual narrator's, they help to immerse me in the story and really bring it to life.

Veiled threat is book 7 in the Rylee Adamson series! I love the twists and turns in this book, a few things I just didn’t see coming, which is why I keep coming back for more! I’m always questioning if a character is going to stay true or turn their back and I’m always surprised with who it is! I think it’s safe to say Alex will always be my favourite, he is just so pure and loyal. Now to book 8!
