This book is the first of its kind to identify the existential crisis faced by vegans.

Vystopia is the normal response any feeling human being should have after discovering the nature and extent of society’s systematized animal abuse. It’s fueled by the trancelike collusion of non-vegans with a dystopian world they’ve not yet realized they’re part of.

Best-selling author Clare Mann, a vegan psychologist, communications trainer, and existential psychotherapist, not only validates the vegan’s experience but rejects medical labels that claim such anguish is abnormal. As a telling witness to vystopia - a term she coined in 2017 - she provides vegans with a language and toolbox to work through their anguish and unite with others to examine the biggest social justice challenge of our time: our relationship with the animal kingdom.

This book is such a positive in a world which no longer makes sense. It’s full of relatable stories, experiences, varying perspectives and ways to deal with your feelings towards the human race when you awaken to the dystopia.
Thank you so much, Clare, this was a life line at this point in my life

Thank you, Clare!

The book lacks any real information or insight and is remarkably repetitive. Most of its contents are divoted to an explanation as to why vegans may feel disillusioned with the world and goes on to eventually offer some very uninspired solutions.

Lazily Written

I think this book may be more useful for non vegans rather than vystopia a themselves.

Sometimes interesting but felt uninspired
