A time of war. An impossible choice. The fight of their lives.

The Heynai gave the people of Estia one great weapon to wage war against the forces of evil; five powerful stones with limitless magic. Guarded for centuries by The Keepers who were chosen from Earth, together they somehow kept darkness at bay.

Until two fifteen-year-old boys from England accidentally broke them.

The Rebel Army of King Artrex is trapped. Outnumbered and outmatched, the only hope of salvation lies with a weapon that no longer exists. Jake West is the only one who can restore it.

But Jake and his gravely wounded friend have returned to Earth.

Time is running out. The fate of Estia hangs by a thread. And a mighty battle between light and darkness is about to commence.

Time for Jake to be all he can be.

Perfect for listeners who love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and The Lord of the Rings, this action-packed fantasy adventure will keep you listening late into the night. Strong themes of loyalty, courage, honour, friendship and doing what is right.

The Story
The second book is even better than the first! The plot is exciting, and the world-building is great. M.J. Martin really keeps the momentum going, and I’m hooked on Jake's journey.
The Audio Quality
The recording could be better. The narrator sometimes sounds like he’s in a box, and the volume dips occasionally as if he’s turning away from the mic. It’s a bit distracting, but the story is strong enough that I kept listening anyway.

Martin does it again
