Ive never cried so much over a character that didn’t have their own book! Although I still felt like I knew him just as much as all the other characters. A perfectly in-perfect end. I am about 8 years late to finding Julie’s books! But now I can’t stop reading them all! Thank you for the escape from reality x

the intricate web that has been weaved in these books is outstanding. Finally Sasha gets to be real.

OF COURSE I liked, even loved the story. JA Huss can write! Her English flows beautifully, she never misuses a word, every sentence is balanced.

And the story is so satisfying, it ties up so many ends, and finished well. I chuckled over Madeline's surname!

Here's the "but". Why did he have to die???? Noooooo! That was awful!
And my other beef - these men behave TERRIBLY to the women in the first half of the story and then they change and they all live happily ever after --- but those men, they never go through the paroxysms of guilt and sorrow that they deserve, they seldom/never apologise for their behaviour. THAT would be so great to read! And while I'm on a roll, it would be great to read that the women somehow come up for air during one of the fantastic sex scenes, and call a halt, and say oh no buster, you're not going to manipulate me with sex this time, and .... well, I dont know what would happen then, but Id love to find out!!!!

The suspense and intrigue continues with Wasted Lust. Sasha Aston/Cherlin doesn’t know whether she can trust Agent Jax Barlow but she does trust Nick Tate and won’t do anything to put him in danger.
There’s more mystery, heat, and heartbreak in this thrilling and exciting read! It can be read as a standalone but it’s also Rook & Ronin #8 and a 321 spin off which I'd say read before for maximum enjoyment. It’s a brilliant read and I highly recommend it! Oh, and I loved the narrators!
