Inspired by the song "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure, this is a paranormal story of love and loss set in a small fishing village in the backdrop of 1980s pop culture. A spirit is lurking in the shadows, could it possibly be him?
Thomas selflessly loses his life rescuing a young girl and her injured father. Abigail is left behind, struggling to keep it together for the sake of their daughter Liza. In the looming cloud of loss and depression, the only thing she can do is incessantly visit her husband’s grave in a bid to find some solace.
