Summary

We Choose You is a very sweet novella with great narration.

I'm not sure if I've listened to anything from this narrator before but I enjoyed their storytelling. The tone used was warm and added pleasant inflections on some sentences. It made for easy listening.

The story moved along quickly, in reality it probably could have been just as good at twice the length, but I went into it knowing if was short and appreciated it for what it was.

The throuple dynamic was done well, with clear communication between them all. A longer story would have added more of that, and more steam, but what there was worked.

I hope there are more visits planned to the world built here.

In between I like to listen to fantasy stories. What I liked here was that it didn't follow the usual pattern.
There was an alpha who chose a beta, although that's not necessarily usual. But what happens when the alpha runs into his mate in the form of an omega?
The story was entertaining and diverting and I almost wished it had gone on a tiny bit longer, just to find out how the family develops.
The narrator, Lance West, did a great job. I find his voice very pleasant, he expresses the emotions well and I could super distinguish the different characters.

Great start to the series! I'm really intrigued and I would like to continue with the other books. I found the way the fated mates trope was handled in the book very interesting, I liked it a lot! And the kids were adorable. I really enjoyed the narration too. I had a wonderful time listening this book.

5 stars for both story and narration

An Established couple of 10 years who want to start a family but a Beta and Alpha coupling doesn't make that possible biologically. Still they have chosen to be together and not care about fate A-O couplings despite being shunned even by their families. Until a random chance meeting brings O and A together and A runs from fate pledging himself to his B and they proceed to adopt Shifter twins. Even still fate is strong and persistent. No worries there is no cheating. This was a short and very sweet story that was well written. There is no angst or drama, just total cuteness. Even though the story was really short it didn't feel rushed at all. I absolutely loved it and couldn't stop listening from start to finish. All the characters were fantastic and they made the perfect and cute little family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves fluffy stories.

The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. He expressed all the emotions wonderfully and did different voices for each character that were easily distinct and well suited to the character and pleasant to listen to. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this.
