About this listen

Sam Meeko never thought that he’d ever get a superpower, especially one that allows him to smell everything. Everything. With his unconventional power, Sam joins forces with a group of women hellbent on getting to the bottom of a countrywide conspiracy. It’s going to take some thinking outside the box, and when that doesn’t work, Sam and his group might need to tear the walls down.

Another stort from Centralia for Cooper as this ties in with other events from the Centralia world although a little tamer than his harem series House of Dolls their will be quite a few recognisable names and characters that appear in this one.
Some great moments and i liked the idea of how the class system works for the powered and non powered ( exemplar) . The narration is as you would expect another wonderful effort from the SBT team with characters mood music to help give it something extra.

An Enjoyable Listen

Liked the book but found the sound effects very distracting. Would be better without them.

Very new concept

The main thing to mention is that infrequently and periodically there is background music.
It is confusing every time as it made me think my music player was playing at the same time as Audible, and even once I knew it was on the book it is still highly distracting.
The story is simplistic and even for super stuff it only makes nods toward a proper plot.
The main downside is the characters. They are simplistic in the extreme and give very little in terms of actual characterisation.
The asides are sort of fun but go too far and it takes 27 chapters before they even try to test the protagonist’s power to see what he can actually do and how accurate it is. Slow moving and not in a slow-burn way, just in a pacing problem way.

Not awful but not great

it's a slow burn to start, getting introduced to ask the characters and the environment.
but gets interesting once the powers are pushed up

takes a while to start getting into

Honestly I got this because I like alot of lit RPG's and some super hero stories, also it was free so worth giving a try. I'm really not enjoying it though! Wich is a shame. The characters are lack-luster and seem very generic. there's also a distinct lack of direction. it feels like a bad p@rn set up. Just disappointed.

Boreing
