Loved it, really enjoyed the character building, the story arch. It fluidly navigates the complexities of Nigeria, the Niger Delta, Nigeria relationship with the old empire, corruption and more.

The narrator’s accents were almost perfect - she’s gotta work on her Kenyan accent a lil haha
The story was cool… takes a little while to figure out where the story is going but a few chapters in, it hooks you in. I found the characters endearing, particularly fineboy. Overall, really good read

Very interesting insight into Nigerias complex political history from the human perspective of the books characters. This includes the hardship that can affect others through circumstances and what can happen when people are in the wrong place at te wrong time.
