I had many, laugh out loud moments which induced tears and belly ache. It gripped me from the moment I started listened to the very end. Another amazing Shari Low book

This book is about group of young women who grew up together as friends who have experienced lots of highs, lows and everything between. We find out all about them in book one ‘What if’ please read that book before reading this one. Fast forward 20 years and we find out what they have been up to.

The main character Carly affectionately known as Cooper her surname was a complete wild one and free spirited. She is now settled into married life with two boys and now after many years of sacrificing her dreams she is heading for divorce. She has unfinished business and her soon to be ex husband who prioritised work over family has decided to take the boys on a road trip around America. Something they always discussed but never did.

So after reluctantly agreeing to let the boys go she is at a loss with just under a month on her hands.
She needs to address a painful period in her life and will do all that she can to avoid it. Her friends all club together and off they go to America and they stay with her ex and good friend Sam. Part way into the trip the girls spring a surprise that they are going to New York for a few days this means Carly must address her painful heartbreak.

Anyway that aside there are still plenty of laughs as Carly rediscovers herself again and joy and pain enter her life.

She now finds herself having to decide does she go through with her divorce and does she go after where her heart lies?

I did not want to finish this book I felt attached to it but a fitting end to the sequel

If you want a light hearted listen, then this is for you. The narrator is good most of the time, just the voice of Carole and Val can get a bit silly. I like a book about female friendships so this was enjoyable even though I’d prefer some more depth.

Good but can verge into cheesy
