I found this a thoroughly satisfying conclusion to a most enjoyable tale. I recommend these two books as a rewarding read at the intersection of fantasy, romance, and historical fiction

I played this directly after the first book and I can't get the story out of my mind, loved it! I really thought it ended well and appropriately for the plot.
