I have always liked Mark Clattenburg as a referee. He was never afraid to take the tough calls and his presence meant it was a big time match. Hearing his story was fascinating especially as it was open and honest. Highly recommended for all football fans.

As a referee myself, I aligned my career to Marks. I was stuck at a different level and should’ve kept my mouth shut…..at least he waited until he got to the top and fair play to him. I liked 99% of the things Mark said however, the 1% showed an arrogant side……it works well if you’ve been a referee, others may just think he’s being a prick……but he’s not, far from it.
