I've used white noise throughout my 40's as an aid to sleep particularly as I tend to 'buzz' in the night which can be hard to turn off. There are lots of white noise sites out there, some even with the ability to tweak settings. I don't know how they've done it, but AMP Media really has made the sound I'd expect to hear on a spaceship to the stars. When I turn it on, I'm immediately on board, going somewhere. I've not heard a sound like this before. I love it. Like I said in the headline - it wasn't what I was expecting, though in truth I don't really know what I was expecting, but it's great. I pop in my earbuds, drown out the snoring next to me and my time to sleep is being cut by up to 20 minutes a night. Great audiobook.

I actually loved listening to this sound!! I am and have been an insomniac for years. I was amazed that I actually found the sound very relaxing and found myself feeling tired and falling asleep after about 10minutes. this is also good for Yoga. I will try that next.
