I pre-ordered this book and I regret wasting my credit. The story was nothing new except it’s been executed wayyyy better by other authors. The male narrator aggravated me the most, he read the book like he was tired and couldn’t be bothered. I found his POV monotone and personally that ruined the deep emotional and physical scenes. The female narrator carried the book. A for effort.

I've been in such a reading slump, but this book was fantastic.

I LOVE anything Elsie silver, and this did not disappoint... the grump that is ford grant and the lovely Rosie...strong independent woman with a sassy attitude for no one to mess with.

The storyline was brilliant. Cora...omg her character is so cute, and her relationship with both Ford and Rosalie is just amazing, I was smiling the whole way through at this whole story. Perfection.
