But he can't have her, doesn't deserve her, doesn't deserve happiness and security....ever. And that Jude thinks that about himself is heartbreaking, I hate seeing him play up to being a joker, always messing up and being careless, when actually the opposite is true. How can anyone miss that Jude is calling out for love? Even Libby misses it and only sees the careless joker that he shows others.
This introduction to Wilde Security shows us a complex and heartbreaking relationship between the siblings, but ultimately despite their differences they work as a team when it comes to work and protection details.
This is a great first book in the series and I look forward to reading the next in the series and getting to know the Wildes better.
