Hot on the heels of the New York Times best seller William Shakespeare’s Star Wars comes the final installment of the original trilogy: William Shakespeare’s The Jedi Doth Return. Prithee, attend the tale so far: Han Solo entombed in carbonite, the princess taken captive, the Rebel Alliance besieged, and Jabba the Hutt engorged. Now Luke Skywalker and his Rebel band must seek fresh allies in their quest to thwart construction of a new Imperial Death Star. But whom can they trust to fight by their side in the great battle to come? Cry “Ewok” and let slip the dogs of war!

Took a little while to get my head round the lines; but it’s worth it. Two words. (Small spoiler) Singing rancor . Totally worth it; it’s brilliant

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely fun, quirky, & fairly quick

What did you like best about this story?

If you're a fan of Shakespeare you'll recognised the homages. Similarly if you're a Star Wars can. But is both this becomes even more entertaining. A book the for the seriousness of most of the source material doesn't take itself to seriously & that makes it a really fun read.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Performance is perfect for Shakespeare but with just the right amount of tongue in cheek to suit this story

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely. Quick, fun, & an easy listen

Quirky fun

So, if you liked the previous productions of William Shakespeare's Star Wars and The Empire Striketh Back, you know what you're in for, and this production does not disappoint for its quality and fidelity to the source material. Although I do hope we get to hear a production of the prequel trilogy soon.

Fun conclusion to original trilogy
