Laurel Schroeder carries on her great job with the narration in this story. It's so comforting being able to pick straight up with the characters.

Ohhhhhh you cannot leave it there! So many questions, so many..... can't finish that due to spoilers....It is great watching the relationships build between Wyn and her guys and all those around her. The story is moving forward with many tiny twists and more questions being posed for those that have been answered. Bring on the next book!!!

I'm loving this series the characters are amazing I love Wyn and her guys. I love the world the author has built. I love the adventure and drama that unfolds. This book has so many things going on and it definitely kept my interest from start to finish. This was an amazing second book. Can't wait to see where it goes from here. 🎧AudiobookObsession

I'm really enjoying this series. Book two is definitely more intense than the first book. Things in the plot are starting to build and things are changing for our otherwise lighthearted MC. There is more intimacy between the MC and her guardians in this book which makes for some good sexy time scenes. I can't wait to get started on book three and see where this story goes!!

Another enjoyable read, plenty of intrigue and steamy encounters, I love that Win's not the 'frilly dress' kind of girl! Definately need the next book now, Laurell Schroeder's narration is good. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love how this book follows straight on from the first, no wasting time going over old ground!
This time we bond with characters, delving into pasts, getting to know and understand them, learning about the realms and the gods. Throw in some more hot steamy sex, rainbows, assassins, Magic, Death, and Unicorn Sparkles and end with heartbreaking news, and you have yourselves a fantastic book 2
Author and Narrator symmetry still going strong.
