What an experience listening to this series of lectures was. I was enraptured from the first right till the last word. A fantastic way to familiarize yourselves with some lesser known influential and inspiring women in Islamic history.

To Any woman or man I urge you to listen to this course and begin to learn about women in Islam and why so many women feel they are being liberated and not confined by Islam.
As a muslim who has a thirst for knowledge and ideas of feminism that I found incompatible with my beliefs, I have come to realise that the shackles I have been bestowed were cultural and I only accepted my position due to ignorance.This course has enabled me to own my opinions and ideas as a woman but also to take some responsability to the capitalistic mess around us and try to obtain more knowledge in order to contribute towards discussions of faith, morals, ethics and ecology that are facing and challenging our humanity and our ability to achieve a connection with our faith and our path as women and as Muslims. A rare masterpiece for Muslims looking for inspiration from history. The contribution of Muslim women is usually ignored from historic references which has lead to bad press about Islam and women suppression. Listening to this audio book certainly changes the perspective. This book should be made part of Islamic curriculum all over the world to educate Muslims about the rich history and contribution of women in making that.
