Xander Corey lives simply, sustainably, on the outskirts of Osprey, a small, quaint town in Upstate New York. He’s a librarian when the town’s budget can afford him, a good friend, kind neighbor, and also, a witch. And while that’s of no concern to anyone around him, there are others, non-humans, who have a vested interest in Xander’s family land. Xander knows something dark and dangerous is brewing. I loved this book from beginning to end, and Greg Tremblay brought it to life perfect.

One of my favourite books. I always feel this could evolve into a series. Great characters. Loved ideas of slips doors into this world. Many concepts in this book could evolve and be made into further stories with new characters concepts and dramas. Still one of my favourites. Really charming.

It’s a heart warming romantic MM fantasy adventure I truly think everyone should read!

I loved this book, a good story with a sense of humour, I enjoyed going for a walk and listening to the story about a witch protecting his land and that around with a love interest of the local police chief. I was disappointed to find the second book was not on audible.
