Wow, this whole series is just so good and as we are heading to the climax of things it's all getting twisty and tangled! I loved the narrator's in this one, the emotions in the last few chapters got me right in the feels and I couldn't stop the tears. Can't wait to see what happens next, all I can say is good luck Riley!

Wounded Book 8 in the Rylee Adamson series, tore my heart out!
What could be seen as backstabbing and betrayal is really love.. where do we go from here??? That was honestly epic.
Shannon really got me with this one, spoiler free, I thought something about Rylee was one thing, turns out I was totally wrong and I LOVE it!
There are some huge emotions in book 8, so be prepared… helo book 9!

Wounded was one of the most emotional installments in the Rylee Adamson series so far. Shannon Mayer balanced action, suspense, and heartfelt character moments beautifully, and I was completely invested from start to finish.

Rylee continued to shine as a determined and resilient heroine while facing impossible choices, growing dangers, and heartbreaking losses. The story kept the tension high throughout, and the emotional moments hit especially hard.

The audiobook narration was excellent and added so much depth to the experience. The performance captured the intensity, fear, and emotional weight of the story perfectly, making it difficult to pause once I started listening.

I’ve grown incredibly attached to these characters over the course of the series, and this book reminded me why I love this world so much. If you enjoy urban fantasy with strong characters, supernatural danger, emotional stakes, and immersive narration, this audiobook is definitely worth listening to.

Highly recommended for fans of fast-paced urban fantasy and emotionally driven adventures!
