About this listen

You’re already a good parent, but here’s how you can be even better: Do you keep doubting your parenting abilities, because it seems like every time you try harder, you also fail harder? Do you see yourself as a bad parent whenever you make mistakes? Do you wonder what really makes someone a good or a bad parent?

It’s normal to feel this way–parenting is never easy. You’re doing everything you can to give your child the best life possible.

The fact that you’re looking for ways to improve your parenting shows that you are already good enough–because you want to help your offspring thrive in life. Each personality type comes with flaws that can negatively affect your childrearing. It’s crucial to understand how your personality can impact the way you bring up your child, so you know how to improve your weaknesses and play to your strengths. If you want to become the best parent you can be while staying true to yourself, then look no further. Inside, you will discover:

  • The nine enneagram types—and how to interpret your results to use them to your advantage.
  • How to cultivate a growth mindset so you will not be hard on yourself and the rest of your family.
  • Why you need to know your parenting purpose—and seven crucial questions you should ask yourself to discover it.
  • What to do to make your child feel valued and cared for, even if you’re a working parent.
  • And much more!

The strategies in this audiobook are applicable to children of all ages, from infants and teens to grown-up kids.

This audiobook is not meant to dictate what you should do, but rather to help you develop self-awareness so you can overcome guilt, frustrations, and self-doubt as a parent, and be able to raise your kid without giving in to society’s pressures. If you want to know how to make the most of your personality so you can be the best parent you can be, then this audiobook is a must listen.

Being a parent to two teenagers, it gets more challenging as they grow and develop, so I have always strived to improve. This audiobook is exactly what I needed. It has helped me to understand my own enneagram type which I am now able to use to help me to forge the right parenting style with my kids. I have now been able to adopt a parenting style that is not too hard on me while my children's interests are met. I listened to this audiobook along with my partner and we are grateful we did. Highly recommended.

Being a parent isn’t easy, but a book like this can definitely make the journey less difficult. The author encourages us to learn our “Enneagram Parenting Style” ,so, we can understand how our personalities can help or harm our children. After taking the online Enneagram test, I’ve learned that I’m a heart-centered feeling person. It was very interesting to find out how my own personality can dictate how I should interact with family and friends. This book truly helped me self-reflect on my own flaws and strengths. I would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed listening to this parenting book. You can never overlearn about parenting and I love to read other perspectives. I loved how each child is an individual. Having 5 I do believe that is HUGE. I love using the enneagram for many areas of my life and relationships and it is very helpful to understand certain aspects of your child's personality and effective ways to effectively communicate. This is a great addition to my parenting book library and will be sharing it with some younger parents.
